HOW TO GET ENERGY

Recently, I started Bikram yoga and noticed my energy levels have increased. My energy before was pathetic - I would notice a drop in the afternoons, after eating, during times of stress and on a night out.

After my first session of Bikram yoga I was up the next morning at 6am and believe or not, I actually went for a walk and made bread. It was incredible.

However, this did not last forever, from continuous sessions my energy levels balanced off throughout the day.

Bikram Yoga makes you sweat sweat sweat. The classes run for 90 minutes and the yoga is practiced in a room heated to 40 degrees or 105 fahrenheit.

You basically sweat out all the negativity, stress and sickness out of your system. Could not recommend it more.

UNEMPLOYED, BORED AND FEELING DEPRESSED

A couple of months ago, I googled  ‘unemployed and bored’ because my head was about to melt off from doing absolutely nothing at home.  Subsequently, I found a couple of blogs so I thought I would do something similar. I was so depressed about being unemployed and was ashamed of my circumstances even though I knew it was not my fault. I suffered a lot in the process but I learned a lot about myself during that time.   So, from my experiences, I thought I would share some of my tips for being unemplo...

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO

The news and the media can scare people. If it is negative which it almost always is, then it can trigger a negative domino effect on peoples behavior and thoughts. This is made worse during a recession or when stress levels are high.    When you don't know what to do in life, it is more than likely  because you are stressed and are unable to think clearly. The best thing to do is to come up with some long and short term goals. Then, it would be a good idea to talk to a life coach, career coach, therapist or councilor. Try research the best one in your area to suit your needs. It's better to use a professional rather than a friend because you don't need friendly comfort but clear thought guidance. When I was not sure what to do, I went to a career coach because I realised my problem was to do with my job. Then, my coach and I came up with a strategy of how to get me from A to B. It was a weight of my shoulders and enabled me to t...
